Faith is a common phrase used by believers to express their relationship with Christ and I bet we’ve heard of it more than a billion times, so the fact that this is today’s discussion should come as no surprise to us. However, let’s take our faith to another level by discussing a more Radical Faith – A type of faith only exercised by those that desire an encounter with Jesus, those that know it takes Radical Faith to cause a divine move of God. Those are the ones I am speaking to today – The Radical believers.
The word Faith in Greek is referred to as Pistis and it means to be persuaded. The Bible further describes faith in Hebrews 11:1 as;
Hebrews 11:1
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
There are two facts about faith, one is faith is obedience and obedience is faith, the second one is that faith requires action.
Secrets of Radical Faith
Radical Faith is a process (Romans 1:17) – For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.” our everyday life requires us to position ourselves in Faith. The faith that you have, walk in it today.
Radical Faith comes through impartation (2nd Timothy 1:5) – when I call to remembrance the genuine faith that is in you, which dwelt first in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice, and I am persuaded is in you also. We demonstrate faith by our obedience to God, to prophetic words and prophetic voices in our lives.
Radical Faith speaks (.Hebrews 11:4) – By faith, Abel brought God a better offering than Cain did. By faith, he was commended as righteous, when God spoke well of his offerings. And by faith Abel still speaks, even though he is dead. Keep on declaring the word of God because there is power in what you say.
Radical faith pleases God (Hebrews 11:6)- And without faith, it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
It is important to also put in mind that even the devil has faith, the only difference between him and us Radical Believers is that Radical Believers work their Faith.
James 2:18
But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.
Question is are you ready to walk into your Radical Faith today??
